The Blue Ocean limited edition glass beads are true works of art and are made by some of the greatest glass artists in the world. Unlike most Trollbeads glass beads made from Italian glass, this bead is handcrafted from Japanese glass. The different types of glass are very different to work with and possess diverse qualities that are useful for different designs.
Every single detailed element of the Blue Ocean bead: Ocean floor, corals and fish, are built by the Murrini method. This means that every single element is crafted individually in glass by hand before beginning to make the whole bead. When each element is made, the creation of the bead begins. On a bottom of glass each of the small glass elements are added one by one. In the end the bead will be heated by the flame, very carefully, to make sure that all the small elements will not lose their form. As all beads are crafted by hand, not two of them will be completely the same. They will each have their own charm and they are all unique pieces of art to treasure.
